An evening to acknowledge and commemorate the contribution of Sir Ian McKay to piping in New Zealand and Piobaireachd in particular.
“For more than 50 years Sir Ian played a central role in the development of piping in New Zealand. Many of the things we take for granted in piping, and virtually all of what we now have in Piobaireachd, are built on the foundations Sir Ian laid”.
A chance to celebrate Sir Ian by reflecting on our history, sharing some stories and enjoying an evening of top piping.
Ample Finger food and a cash bar.
